Cyndi's Design Blog

Hello, my name is Cyndi Hewitt and I am new to designing a web site and blogging.  I have not really thought about graphic designing as a fine art, but after reading the text, it truly is a fine art.  Changing the font, color, and typography really enhances a project.  Visual details in graphic design is a very important.  Clip art catches my eye whether I am viewing a website or something else.  I guess I haven't really focused on the adjustments that may have been made to clip art, but after reading the text it made me aware that I should pay careful attention to the details of the clip art and photos.  I often send letters out to the youth at my church with some sort of clip art or border to help add creativity and draw their attention to the letter, but the details I add are very basic.  Another important part of design is the special effects that are applied to photos in order to make people interested and keep them interested in visiting their website often.
The most important thing is to grasp the attention of anyone who looks at your design.  I am not that creative with my design for the letters I send home, but after reading the text I am looking forward to learning how to be more creative.
